Add Rosetta site role in a user's .org profile page

Description (last modified by SergeyBiryukov)

It would be great if we could add the role a user has on a local Rosetta site to their profile page:

Ex.: https://profiles.wordpress.org/claudiosanches/

The badge already marks Claudio as a translation contributor and translation editor, but it would be good to mark what locale he contributes to as well.

Currently Rosetta sites give users four separate contributor roles:

  • Site editor - handles content on the Rosetta site
  • General translation editor - responsible for all translations for a locale
  • Project translation editor - responsible for a particular project for a locale
  • Forum moderator - self explanatory

Alternatively maybe we can add a separate tab to the profile listing the User's contributor Roles. Thoughts?

I'm guessing this is something that the Community team would want to discuss on their p2, since adding new types of badges is more of a policy decision than a discussion about technical implementation.

From @jenmylo in ticket:1082#comment:14:

As an aside, trac is considered a development tool, while discussions about WordCamp policies and general direction for the wordcamp.org setup overall happen on the make.wordpress.org/community blog (the team that runs all WordCamp stuff). Most of that community team doesn't watch for tickets on the bug tracker, since it's not something we've used for policy discussion.

This can be reopened after the discussion, if the decision is to go ahead with it.

v2 of profiles was going to have tabs for each area of contribution where we could get more fine-grained, and is slotted to happen in 2016, but adding custom roles to the top profile bit isn't very scalable, because then we'd need to do it for every team, and some teams have many roles that people occupy.
