There are mentions of the meetings and timings attached to it. It would be much more useful for the time shortcode to work there.

I'm going to wontfix this. We're doing a revamped version of the make homepage in the not-too-distant future and will likely remove meeting times entirely, in favor of the Meetings page and individual make sites.
