hello, I want to add , when mouse hover on a link at ​https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference, it will show him a short description of that function.

I would happy to do it, but I dont know how to use the editor of the page its show me instead of html code like in the front end but when i choose to edit I c only square barkets- [] instead of <img> tag

The function reference in the Codex is being phased out and is in the process of being redirected to the official ​Code Reference on the Developer Hub.

Rather than continuing to perpetuate the largely outdated function documentation in the Codex, I would suggest you refer to the Code Reference: ​https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/

Hi, I saw the new one, but i think its not well designed for user friendly use, I would suggest to keep the small fonts and with category boxes, but just add - the above suggestion, also the pages with the function need to be smaller- that a user wont need to use the mouse to move down......

I'm going to close this as wontfix due to the still-ongoing migration over to Devhub. It's not worth the time to put any development into the Codex.
