Description
Rather than have a CTA link for each block on the make homepage, buttons would look better and be easier to click. This would also provide some balance alongside the chat times. Along with this, we can remove the "weekly IRC chat" copy and replace it with a simpler "Meets."
An alternate solution is to remove the button/link altogether and make each block clickable.

I think I'm in favor of this or something similar, but I'm definitely not in favor of making the entire box clickable – I dislike huge click targets. A button does feel kind of weird. What's the rational for a button-style versus a better looking link (maybe bold or styled in another way)?

A link is easier to miss. The button is a bigger call-to-action (and click target) and, honestly, just feels better in the flow of the page.

Any particular reason why? Just in this context, or in general?

Not opposed, just looks weird to me. The link design you posted isn't a big enough call-to-action, you're right. Can we try it bold? Or styled in some other way? Perhaps we should be using a different blue for those links?

In general. Click targets that large are annoying if you're trying to copy text or otherwise deal with data inside the click target. Of course, we could make the header in each box clickable in addition to the "learn more" links/buttons.
