Description
On locale-specific project pages like https://translate.wordpress.org/locale/ru/default/wp, there's a number of contributors on the right (469 for Russian at the moment), but that number does not include PTEs or GTEs.
I think it should include every contributor for the locale. Once someone becomes a PTE or GTE, they (hopefully) don't stop being a contributor :)

@SergeyBiryukov Why should it not include PTEs or GTEs? The number represents all translators with at least one accepted translation: https://meta.trac.wordpress.org/browser/sites/trunk/wordpress.org/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wporg-gp-routes/inc/cli/class-update-caches.php?rev=3002&marks=37#L22

Replying to ocean90:

On https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/?locale=ru_RU, there are currently 468 profiles listed under Translation Contributors. Are those counted differently?
There are also 89 PTEs and 3 GTEs. 468 + 89 + 3 = 560, so I'm not sure where 469 comes from.
Some PTEs might not have any accepted translations, but most of them have, so it still seems that the number of translators with at least one accepted translation should be over 500.

No, it's the same: https://meta.trac.wordpress.org/browser/sites/trunk/wordpress.org/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-i18n-teams/wp-i18n-teams.php?rev=4329&marks=417#L405
As you have already said, editors are contributors too.
