I can't browse happy with the comments expanded by default. @pento - I was told you can fix this.

Thank you for the bug report, @jorbin, and my apologies that you are unable to browse happily at this point in time.

Similar to the classic P2 theme, there's a link at the top of the post list - "Hide comment threads". Clicking, tapping, or otherwise activating this link will close all comment threads. Of course, this will be saved across page loads.

Do you feel that there's a usability issue here? While it's very similar to the previous option, we can take this opportunity to make this option more easily findable.

I believe this was a per-site P2 setting in the past. I can't seem to find the same setting in o2.

@jorbin Is using the 'Hide comment threads' link in P2's header a reasonable fix to this ticket?

@obenland as long as that is persistent, when both logged and logged out, then yes I think it's reasonable.
