Description
Stumbled upon this several times in the last few months.
Occasionally, when replying to a topic, your reply is not displayed right away. It's not in pending or spam queue, apparently it just falls through the cracks of cache buckets :)
The reply itself might appear after a few page refreshes, but the Last Post info still shows the previous poster's name even after a few hours (this is not related to #2043, as no pending, spam, or archived posts are involved), and I suspect the notification for the reply didn't go out either.
The workaround I use is to unapprove and re-approve my own post, then the Last Post info is properly refreshed.
Is there any other info that might be helpful in tracking this down?

Replying to netweb:
I've not seen this issue myself
I only encountered it three or four times, so it's probably a worksforme
unless more details crop up. I still wanted to document it just in case :)

Sounds good to me, will keep an eye out for it all the same +1
I've not seen this issue myself, I think it may in fact be #2043 related, the [3898] changes are not exclusive to pending, spam, archived statuses, it affects all topics and replies.
