The URL is ​http://lists.bbpress.org/mailman/listinfo/bbdev, which redirects to a 404 page: ​https://bbpress.org/mailman/listinfo/bbdev.

Any chance to revive that mailing list? Having an archive like that in Gmail is quite handy as a quick search tool.

There are active "firehose" lists for ​WordPress and ​BuddyPress, but not for bbPress. There were ​bb-trac and ​bbdev in the past, but the latest activity in both is from 2009.

No idea where to even start. We retired all the mailing lists years ago. I never subbed to the bb one, so didn't know it existed.

You'd probably have to ask systems what servers those were on and where the content for the archives lived, to see if the data is still around anywhere. Mailman isn't hard, but finding the data in the first place would be the tricky part, since it was not in our main DBs.

Just noting that I've removed the link from bbpress.trac.wordpress.org to the defunct mailing list.

This ticket is now an enhancement request for a mailing list, if one is really needed (Moving bbPress to Github for example could mean it's not needed, etc)
