Plugins Trac: Weird "Repository URL" link

Description

On https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/bbpress/trunk/, there's a weird "Repository URL" link next to "Revision Log".

The link leads to http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/bbpress/trunk, which redirects to https://wordpress.org/plugins/bbpress/.

Looks like this is true of all plugins and they all redirect to the plugin .org page ... so I guess that's as it should be?

It's a feature! :D

@SergeyBiryukov Do you have a suggested fix? Like @Ipstenu, I think it's fine?

I mean if we wanted, we could remove /extend/ and lessen the redirect.

Replying to obenland:

"Repository URL" should lead to the repository, not the plugin directory page :)

The correct URL would be https://plugins.svn.wordpress.org/bbpress/.

Having that link in Trac at all seems a bit weird, as we're already browsing the repository, but I guess it might be useful as a quick way to return to the plugin's repository root.

  • Resolution set to fixed
  • Status changed from new to closed

The link is no more, I assume it was removed at some point during the Trac 1.2 upgrades.
