Description
When I get email notification for new post. I found there is categories mentioned: Blog and it links to https://2017.ahmedabad.wordcamp.org/?taxonomy=category&term=blog. When I open, It give 404 error. I have noticed that, I am not able to change slug for Category. I have renamed default "Uncategorised" Category to "Blog" but still its slug is "uncategorised" on website, while in email it is "blog".
I am co-organizer of WordCamp Ahmedabad. I also found same issue on WordCamp Kanpur email post notification.

@kraftbj, I haven't had time to dig into this yet, but before I do I'm curious if you're aware of any Jetpack Subscriptions issues that would cause this. Off the top of my head, I can't think of any WordCamp.org customizations that would.

Possibly related to global terms, which were disabled on WordCamp.org 10 months ago. Closing this ticket, if this happens again an issue should be opened on github.
