Old Plugins - Not updated in Years

Description

Please put a limit on Old Plugins in the directory, If it has not been updated in 5, 6, 7 years why is it still available. It is potentially harmful to have these plugins still floating around.
You have just updated the directory, time to cull some plugins.

The plugins are still available because they (often) still work.

We email developers 2-3 times a year with reminders about updating and how to have a plugin closed. They chose not to and that's fine. But they are made aware.

In return, plugins of 2+ years or more without an update are no longer shown on searches, unless it's a direct name query.

By keeping them available, people can find the code, download it, fix it, and either communicate with the developer to apply fixes, or perhaps take it over, fostering a healthy ecosystem :)

Worst case? They can email plugins@… and ask us to take over the work. We often do so :)
