Timeline missing on menu along with 'New ticket'

Description

Navigation friendlyness is reduced when one has to click 'Trac', then find the link to 'Timeline section' in the text.

I want 'Timeline' back on the lower menu. 'New ticket' is very alone on a menu line all by itself, and need a companion, a companion that is much more often used.

Sorry for the confusion. I'm in the process of re-arranging how we navigate Trac, to make it a bit easier and less cluttered. I'm going to be doing away with the placement of "New Ticket" soon, thus dissolving the rest of that navigation bar.

If you click "Ticket Reports", you'll get an instant overlay (just added, it's no longer a separate page) of what is replacing the old /report screen. This includes links at the top to the timeline.

The "Trac" link is going to go soon too; we don't really use the homepage for anything at this point.

We'll continue to experiment with this and see how we can improve it. Suggestions welcome.

  • Resolution set to fixed
  • Status changed from new to closed

The old menu is now completely gone. Everything is accessible from the Bug Reports page/overlay. There are also icons for Timeline, Browser, and New Ticket, as shortcuts for regular users.

Note: See TracTickets for help on using tickets.
