Documentation Team should get some kind of link in the "Get Involved" Menu

There should be a link to the documentation P2 (​http://make.wordpress.org/docs/) under the Get Involved Menu. I see that there is a Documentation link under support, so perhaps it could put under a different name under the Get Involved menu.

Bumping this (and with it #146, I suppose).

New contributors are confused as to why the docs team doesn't appear in the list (this argument could be made for any team, so...), and are imputing perceived value.

Indeed, one could go so far as to say that it may mean that "we" (the docs team, or any other team not listed in the drop down) are getting fewer folks stumbling upon the docs team as a way to give back than we might otherwise.

Regardless, the current solution is clearly not optimal.

Not convinced that an all/nothing approach is either, but perhaps it beats what's there now. I can see that a complete list may be overwhelming, and the new make.wordpress.org homepage may very well suffice as a brief, high-level intro to various ways to contribute.

A complete list in the dropdown is clearly out of the question. The list is long and really only going to increase over time.

I'm far more inclined to go with #146 than to add anything else to the dropdown. It's too big as is.
