Description

It would be helpful to explain how to link to trac attachments, with [attachment:example.patch] on this Wiki page:

https://meta.trac.wordpress.org/wiki/WikiFormatting

that's linked to from the "Create New Ticket" form with:

You may use WikiFormatting here.

It took me a while to discover this handy feature ;-)

The Wiki pages don't seem to be open to edits.

Hi @birgire, welcome to WordPress Meta Trac!

There's a TracLinks page that explains various link features on Trac.

Thanks @SergeyBiryukov, that's useful.

I see know that this page is linked to, from the Wiki Formatting page, but it looks like I missed it.

I remember searching for "attachment" on the Wiki Formatting page, without success,

so I would suggest mentioning it there too?

I also remember searching the meta trac for "attachment", but since many posts include it, it wasn't helpful ;-)

I updated the Cheat Sheet and Trac Links sections with documentation about that feature.
