Description
Hello Meta team,
For some purpose, locale teams can need a full-width template for special posts/pages.
Basic example on fr_FR locale: https://fr.wordpress.org/2016/04/22/regles-typographiques-de-base/
The new design is beautiful, but it's also limited in width. When we have tables or some large elements to show in the content of special posts which are separated from regular blog content, it would be great to allow us to use a full width template.
Thanks,
Jb – and from fr_FR Locale Team :)

In the screenshot above, I simply removed <aside>
and replaced col-8
with col-12
class on the <main>
HTML tag.

Is there a reason for why this a post and not a page? Posts should only be used for news.

@ocean90 You're right and we are wrong :) we should use Pages instead of Posts.
We got some job to do for replacing posts with pages but let's roll.
Last question before closing this ticket: is there a way to manage 301 redirections on Rosetta websites?
A lot of external links are pointing these posts…
Thanks,
Jb
