Description
Hi.
I just wanted to suggest to make the search query more exact.
for example, when you search
https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/wp+debug/
OR EVEN
https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/enable+wp+debug/
the search result includes quite irrelevant results.
There are not included the exact ones/phrases that user searches for.
For example, this plugin is not even included:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/enable-wp-debug-from-admin-dashboard/
I say this because I have met almost all time i make a search, as the ones (with phrase matched) are sometimes on 5 or 6th page (or even in not list).
i think you should have more advanced search, you are WP Devs, please take care of search platform too. thanks.

Note: See
TracTickets for help on using
tickets.
That plugin is not included in the search results because it was uploaded 7 hours ago (3 hours before your ticket) and it has zero active installs.
The search results give results that are "relevant" and most likely to be useful to the user. A plugin that was uploaded for the first time 3 hours earlier and which has no users has no track record of usefulness to go with it.
Time is a factor. Number of active users is a factor. Support forums and ratings and reviews are all factors as well. Plugins that have mileage on them, which have been well-tested and have good support behind them will always come ahead of brand new and untested plugins.
