Incorrect parameters in [time] shortcode in Make posts show wrong dates

Description
Several of the posts on Make blogs use the [time]
shortcode incorrectly, so the dates that are shown are not useful.
The ones I saw that prompted this ticket are all visible on https://make.wordpress.org/core/tag/new-contributors/
although I'm sure there are others in other Make blogs, perhaps on their meeting summary posts.

Well, each post has a link for Next Meeting.
The post from Sept 1, 2017 says next meeting is Sept 12, 2018. I doubt that is correct.
The post from Aug 17, 2017 says next meeting is Aug 1, 2018. That can't be right either.

The time shortcode is [time relative]Wednesday, September 6, 19:00 UTC[/time]
which does indeed mean it'll be relative to todays date, rather than the posts.
I've updated it on https://make.wordpress.org/core/2017/09/01/new-contributors-meeting-recap-august-30th/ to not include the relative
param, which seems to have fixed it for that post - I can't go through all of the posts though
Are there any specific examples to check against by any chance? How are they used incorrectly?
