Description

SPDY is deprecated. We should upgrade to use h2 as a standard by default, across all .org sites/servers/systems.

See https://blog.chromium.org/2016/02/transitioning-from-spdy-to-http2.html, https://blog.cloudflare.com/deprecating-spdy/

Hey @jonoaldersonwp,

As far as I know, this has already happened. Are there any specific sites which you've noticed SPDY on? or is this related to some documentation/etc?

  • Resolution set to worksforme
  • Status changed from new to closed

re-open if there's any non-HTTP/2 servers hanging around :)
