    11Non-translated URLs shouldn't redirect, as that takes you out of your localised site/experience. That causes issues.

    3 Canonicals (and removing the hreflang markup) is a possible option, but, not as technically correct as the hreflang markup I've suggested. These _are_ the localised equivalents of the EN-US versions; they just happen not to be translated into the relevant language.

    55If we want users to find the right content in/for the right sites, we need the hreflang approach. Otherwise, users in Spain will find, and end up in, the US site rather than the ES site.
