Description
https://codex.wordpress.org/
Has a "Current WordPress version" link which takes me to a page about 5.1.1
There is also : https://codex.wordpress.org/Supported_Versions
Which states 5.1.1 is the only supported version.
However, https://wordpress.org/download/releases/
States that 5.2.1 is the latest release and none of the others are safe to use.
So why is the "current" and "supported" version not the latest version and unsafe??

The codex is a wiki. Anybody can edit it. It's also being phased out in favor of the developer documentation at https://developer.wordpress.org/ and the support resource documentation at https://wordpress.org/support/ .
As such, it's not always going to be up to date. Generally speaking, it's not necessary to create a meta ticket for it, since you can simply update it directly.
I updated https://codex.wordpress.org/Template:CurrentVersion to 5.2.1 and both are fixed.
