Description
While your WordCamp site is "Coming Soon" mode, published posts on the site still show up under the author's profile page (e.g. see https://profiles.wordpress.org/mimitips/ ).
Steps to reproduce:
- Set a WordCamp site to "Coming Soon" mode
- Publish a new post
- Check your WordPress.org profile activity stream
Could be related: #3309
If this is not something we are going to fix, we should at least say (in the WordCamp organizer handbook) that posts published during Coming Soon mode will be visible in feeds.

I think preventing published posts from appearing in the profile stream while in Coming Soon mode could cause other issues and complications. Like, do we queue all published posts and then add them to the stream once Coming Soon is turned off? What if it is then turned back on?
We could also decide to turn off that particular activity item altogether, and not have any published posts from WordCamp sites appear in the profile stream.
As discussed in today's bug scrub, it seems like the best place to start is with @Nao 's suggestion to add a note about this to the handbook.
