Already signed up email gets error on subscribe

If you try and subscribe with an existing email you just get an error message, nothing says "sorry you are already subscribed".

That is the Jetpack widget and subscriptions functionality. Probably need to take it to them directly to get that altered or adjusted.

Unfortunately this is indeed something that we have little control over.

Looking at the Jetpack code though, it's supposed to be showing a different error if you're already subscribed, and testing that seems to hold true.

Unfortunately since there's nothing we can really do here, I'm going to close this as invalid, but happy to help debug, especially if you can provide the actual URL which triggered the message you're seeing (Since the args on the url may provide insights into the actual issue)
