Description

My commits to core don't link to my GitHub username when viewed on the GitHub mirror (​example). My username is the same (johnbillion) so clearly something else also needs to be configured.

It's based off matching email on the GitHub side, not matching usernames. Each commit in Git has to have an email attached to it.

I'm not sure why yours don't map like everyone else's?

johnbillion, simply add johnbillion@… as an email on your GitHub profile. At this time, there is no need to confirm it (and these emails do not work); it'll start working automatically across GitHub).
