Description
SupportFlow is a plugin to help manage support tickets, and it's one of our GSoC 2014 projects. Now that it's in the plugin repository, are there any designers out there who could contribute a banner image?
Details on size requirements, etc are in the plugi directory FAQ.

I don't really have any thoughts on that, but @jenmylo, @melchoyce, and @hugobaeta would know better than me. Do any of you have any suggestions or direction?
If they don't, I'd say just go with whatever you think is best.

Retina-friendly is most important. Other than that, simpler is better, and avoid using text in the image. Thanks @McGuive7!

Hey guys! I did a banner, following @melchoyce 's will: simpler is better, and avoid using text in the image. It's not totally avoid, but with just the plugin name.

Hi @MatheusFD, thanks for working on this!
What's the license on the icon you're using in the banner image? If we use it, we'd need to make sure it's cc0 or public domain.
What would you think about using a Dashicon instead, maybe something like https://developer.wordpress.org/resource/dashicons/#sos?

Like the look. The only other thing I'd add is a request to use gender-agnostic icons whenever possible. A bit granola crunchy, but hey I'm from Berkeley :)

Replying to McGuive7:

+1 — it'd be nice to keep gender and race ambiguous.

hey guys! So, as asked, gender-agnostic icon. I did this icon, I have the vector if you need :)
Hope we can use this!

Thanks Matheus :)
I definitely agree with Mel that the avatar should be gender/race agnostic, but I don't think that particular icon is very intuitive. When I first looked at it, I thought they were wearing headphones, rather than a headset, which makes me think of music, rather than support. I only realized it was supposed to be a support agent after I saw the earlier versions where it's obviously a headset.
Maybe alter the icon so that it's a one-sided headset with a microphone arm? I think that's more universally recognizable. Alternatively, I think the SOS dashicon that Dominik mentioned is also a good idea, since that's what the plugin uses for its menu icon.
Whatever the final version ends up being, we'll want the vector art so that it can be committed to the plugin's assets
folder and used for any future iterations.
good-first-bug
is used to identify tickets that are self-contained and easy for new contributors to start with; we don't usually remove it after a patch(/mockup) has been added, since the original contributor doesn't always finish the ticket, and other new contributors may want to collaborate.

Hey @iandunn !
I will change it as soon as possible! Today I'm a little bit busy with college things, but today, in the dawn, I'll do this, and change to the SOS dashicon!

Hi guys!
As promised, here is a new version, using the SOS dashicon, that is GPLv2 and other with headset to compare, that I did in Illustrator.
As @iandunn asked, I changed the headphone
to a headset
, to identify a support :)

@iandunn Would be happy to take a stab - any particular design specs?
