Description
I'm not sure what value this page is providing since it just suggests that you read the requirements page. Can we just remove it from the menu to simplify??

This is a standard page, a meta trac ticket is not needed unless it should be redirected.
I'm not sure what this means? Is there a better place to log these?
I don't think it should be removed until it is decided if the themes team are going to present the "old" soon to be removed requirements as recommendations, and on which page.
I think it's a better strategy to make decisions based on how the site is going to be consumed by users, and right now this page provides no value to users trying to make themes.

It is a team handbook page, those with access can already edit or remove it, compared to a page where one would need the meta teams help to make code changes.
And I disagree that it is better to start removing handbook pages instead of giving the team time to make those decisions.

Where do content discussions happen? I'll move the discussion there.

The page has been removed. The content specifically says "This page has been removed".

During the team meetings.
And the remark has a date on it which is January 2020 which was before the decision to reduce the review requirements.
Do you want to remove it today just to add it back on the 20th of may?

Fair enough, I wish I lived in a friendly timezone but I just can't make it.

Yep, I personally think it would be best. I think the timing of this is somewhat irrelevant. It doesn't make sense to leave confusing documentation live on .org for any length of time.
