#5916 closed defect (bug) (fixed)

Update Account Deletion Page to explain posts etc WILL NOT be removed/edited

Description

An ongoing issue is that people want to anon their accounts (fine that's their right) but don't realize this WILL NOT remove their posts!

This needs to be made much more clear as we end up with angry users wanting to know why their 'anon' account still has links to their domain.

@dd32 Ehm. Unless we're talking about reviews, only moderators have the power to "...edit any personal details out of your support forum activity prior to requesting erasure."

Those who handle the removal requests have already been given that ability for when it is needed.

Ugh.. I thought users had the edit rights on forum posts still? Or is that actually time limited?

Yeah, this string is not great if they can't self-edit, I'll have to change it then..
