If you change the search words, the filter resets as well

To reproduce:

1) Go to a locale, and choose eg plugins.
2) Enter a random search word in the "search projects..." box like "Toolkit" and enter
3) Set the filter to anything else but the default.
4) After the page is loaded with the new sorting, remove everything from the search box and you'll notice that the sort also resets to the default.

-> I would prefer that the sort doesn't reset. I find it a bit annoying to reset my filter each time I change search term.
