Description

The new wordpress.org/download/ page looks good, but I noticed some helpful links to resources are no longer available on the redesigned page.

The previous /download/ page included a section called "More resources" which included links to the following:

  • All Releases
  • Beta/Nightly Versions
  • Download Counter
  • Source Code

It would be helpful to add these links to the new page design. I personally find the link to /download/releases/ the most important link to re-add, the /download/releases/ page provides visitors historical releases, tarball copies, IIS versions and checksums to validate their downloads are legitimate.

Here is an indirectly related Reddit thread where someone brings up that they could no longer find tar.gz copies of WordPress after the redesign.

For reference purposes, in case you would like to look what these pages linked to before. Here is the archive.org link for the old design.

Thank you

Hi @rawrly, thanks for your feedback! These links were added back in earlier today, under the download button.

Thanks for the update ryelle and meta team (or whomever updated this)

Wow, always great to see things get fixed before I find the time to write the bug. :) Thank you.
