Description
I saw #6445 and went to look at the new download page. My first impression was stark and unfriendly.
- The copy has imperative statements with no ending period, followed by sentence fragments that do end with a period.
- There are four different styles for links on the page, not counting the menu. Only a few of them have a little arrow to show it goes somewhere else. The Get WordPress link in the header is the most prominent thing as the page loads, so it's tempting to click it. The Download link looks like a "button" and yet it is not using a download block, but a button block. The Installation guide link looks like a "button", giving the impression that the guide would be downloaded like the link above it.
- The required versions are below the fold. They are written in an incomplete sentence. They are low contrast and small.
- The list of blue on blue words are partially hidden. This is bad for dyslexics. These underlines are not adding value, but detract. The words are large, so they catch your eye, but are in a thin font that does not quite overcome the blue on blue, and since there is no explanation or link for them, it is useless to have them there.
- When I used Ctrl+ to make the font larger so I could read the required versions, part of the blue words disappeared. It is ironic that it is the word "extendable".

Can you please provide Operating System and Browser details? I am not experiencing the same issue.

I assume you are referring to the blue letters disappearing issue...
I'm on Ubuntu Studio 20.04 with Firefox 103.0. My standard window size is about 1040px wide and I use the default browser font size of 16px and default zoom of 100%.
When I tried it in the Epiphany 3.36.4 browser, the blue letters are much thicker, but still hard to read because the descenders are hidden. Using Ctrl+ made the blue text full width, knocking the black text below it.
I also tried Falkon 3.1.0 browser, and it only takes one Ctrl+ to knock the black text below the blue words. But the spacing looks wonky in this browser (I know it's older.)

The spacing issue is logged here: https://github.com/WordPress/wporg-main-2022/issues/78
