I've updated the link to point to the Getting Started page.

Thanks for the mention @robinwpdeveloper!

As you'll have surely noticed.. the handbook is very bare and under-utilised, I believe the page linked to was previously removed, as it had no content on it.

Hey, @dd32 thanks for the quick fix and there is another broken link that exists. Please check the latest screenshot.

Thanks

Thanks @priyomukul , I've took a look at it.

In the meta handbook page's documentation section (link: https://make.wordpress.org/meta/handbook/#documentation):

The meta team uses this handbook mostly for documentation. As we develop further parts of WordPress.org, we’ll continue to document each piece of the site.

In the above text, documentation link is invalid. It redirects to a page (https://make.wordpress.org/meta/handbook/documentation/) which doesn't exist.

As U've rightly pointed out.

Also,
I've found that in the Getting Started page(https://make.wordpress.org/meta/handbook/getting-started/):

The Meta team is always welcoming of contributions in Code, Documentation, and Testing.

In the above text,
documentation redirects to this page (https://make.wordpress.org/meta/handbook/getting-started/contribute-with-docs/) and Testing redirects to this page (https://make.wordpress.org/meta/handbook/getting-started/contribute-with-testing/).
Both of these page has no content in them.

Can U check please? @dd32

This issue that warranted this ticket's reopening has been resolved (the broken "Documentation" link has been removed, as has the entire "Documentation" section of that page).

As for the follow-up report, yes the "Getting Started" page does link out to the "Contribute with Documentation" and "Contribute with Testing" pages. While it is unfortunate that those pages still have no meaningful content, I don't think that's inherently a bug. The pages could be unpublished and the links removed, but I think having the pages as placeholders at least indicates those types of contributions are a possibility.

Note: See TracTickets for help on using tickets.
