top right search bar is broken

take the support page for example: ​https://wordpress.org/support/ (this is same in other pages also)

when the search icon beside 'Get WordPress' is clicked the search bar will popup. In the search bar the close icon('X') is not aligned with the search field.

The close ('X') button isn't properly aligned with the search field. It's getting cut off
