Description

Hello,

Would it be possible to consider activating the "Jetpack Stats" dashboard widget on localized HelpHub websites (like for instance https://fr.wordpress.org/support/)?

It would be super useful for Local HelpHub managers to see what posts are popular and what posts are not, and to improve decision making about the architecture of our localized versions of HelpHub.

I think most localized HelpHub team would also welcome this improvement :)

Thanks!

This ticket is a follow-up of a discussion between the French HelpHub team with @jdy68, @wplmillet, @jmsilcom, @gabinou7.

Also pinging @milana_cap as Docs team representative :)

Capture of the Jetpack Stats widget on main Rosetta websites. The idea would be to activate it on Localized HelpHub websites (/support)

+1 for this ticket.
Because translating doc is a really hard job made by volunteer, I think it's important to not asking them working on documentation which is not or not really visited (in a first time).
it would be a nice tool for local helphub manager to prioritize tasks.

+1 ++++ for this ticket also.

I’am co-lead of the wordpress documentation in French and it is difficult for us to make choices in the work to be done without knowing what is expected by our readers in terms of content. So having a minimum of statistics would help us a lot.
In principle, the tool exists, we just need to have it in the toolbox!

Thank you very much for implementing this tool…

also working in the documentation fr team, I can see how it would be simpler to direct efforts based on objective stats rather than on simple feelings.

+1, still a topical subject, it would really be important information for us, contributors, to know what visitors are doing / their number.
