#6896 closed enhancement (duplicate)

The feature request for the WordPress.org plugin page is to add a pop-up lightbox for the screenshots section, which will allow users to view all images using next and previous arrow buttons instead of opening the media image directly.

Description

The WordPress.org plugin page is an essential platform for developers to showcase their plugins and for users to find and install them. One of the sections of the plugin page is the screenshots section, which displays images of the plugin in action.

However, currently, when a user clicks on an image in the screenshots section, it opens the media image directly, taking the user away from the plugin page. To view the other images, the user has to click the back button, and then click on the next image.

To enhance the user experience, the feature request suggests adding a pop-up lightbox for the screenshots section. This lightbox will enable users to view all images using next and previous arrow buttons without leaving the plugin page. This feature will improve the usability of the WordPress.org plugin page and make it easier for users to evaluate plugins before installing them.

I am available to contribute design team if any task. Thanks:)
