+1 for leaving Updates out. It doesn't really fit with the others, and it would add just another link to an already-long dropdown.

Docs and support will maintain two separate P2s, even after they merge. Events and community will likely move to one P2. I'm not sure about training.
This patch is good enough for me. We can update more as things change.

It seems like this dropdown should actually probably go away once make.wordpress.org has a real homepage. Otherwise we risk navigation item bloat like no other. That homepage also will have a fairly comprehensive call-to-action for "Getting involved" unlike (at the moment) some of ther other P2s.
Or, this could be the super-popular groups like "Core" followed by "more..." at most.

To paraphrase Office Space, "I wouldn't say it's missing, Bob".
Adding extra entries to this menu clutters it up something fierce. It's already too long, IMO. A rethink is in order instead of just adding on new things.
The make homepage redesign may help this, like nacin says, or we can think of something else. But sticking an extra 2-4 menu items there looks ugly.

+1 for adding Docs/Meta somehow, I find myself looking for them regularly from WordPress.org subpages. Might be a dropdown with an automatic redirect or something more useful too, the extra click to the main "Get Involved" is a bit annoying (could be reasonable if none of the subsections is listed below).
Events, Training, and Community are also missing. Events and Community will probably merge soon, but the blogs are still separate, so we can just update the menu when they eventually merge. Same for Docs/Support.
Updates is missing too, but I'm wondering if it's better to leave that out of the menu since it doesn't quite fit the "Get Involved" call-to-action feel of the menu. Thoughts?
