Description
Make teams have long wanted improved options for featured images so that shared posts stand out well in social spaces.
In light of this: https://jetpack.com/blog/create-custom-visuals-for-your-social-media-with-the-jetpack-social-image-generator/
Can Make team sites, LearnWP, HelpHub and related sites also have the Jetpack social plugin enabled? We have the base Jetpack plugin already enabled.

Just noting that we do have social-image-generator installed on WordPress.org, IIRC for testing of this feature before it was merged to Jetpack. It was never actually used by the teams that requested it. Am I correct in thinking that the jetpack-social plugin replaces it?

Yes, it does replace that. And it would need a license key, which Super Admins would need to set up.
I didn't know that the plugin was installed, so we never requested tested it on LearnWP or Make sites. I've run it on my own site though for ages and have the Jetpack new feature active on my personal site.

I've deployed the plugin, and network activated it for Learn and Make networks.
I haven't touched HelpHub, just to ensure things work as intended before doing so.
I've given learn.wordpress.org a Jetpack Social Advanced subscription, I believe I'd need to add one individually to all the Meta sites.. so I'm going to defer to Rob for that.
Noting Rob Pugh is working on licensing as this would be part of the Jetpack Social advanced plan. https://wordpress.slack.com/archives/C0GKJ7TFA/p1688156262253929?thread_ts=1688155793.721659&cid=C0GKJ7TFA
