#7314 closed enhancement (duplicate)

accessibility of svg image in wordpress.org footer

Description

In the footer on https://wordpress.org/ there is a svg image with the words "code is poetry". In terms of accessibility it has too low color contrast to be readable for colorblind people.
secondly why isn't it plain text? it would be much quicker for screen readers.

  • Resolution set to duplicate
  • Status changed from new to closed

Thanks for the report! However, this was previously reported in #6069, which had an upstream discussion at https://github.com/WordPress/wporg-mu-plugins/issues/154 where it was confirmed that the current state is intentional.
