Update the es_ES site menu (es.wordpress.org)

We'd like to update the site menu for the WordPress España site.

Should look like this, so it's more like the global / English one.

Thank you for opening this issue. I took a look but the navigation section is coming from a locked pattern and I do not know how to edit it. I think @foosantos and @jordesign might be able to help with this.

Hi folks, I believe by default you have most of the menu items hardcoded for the Rosetta theme, and you only add/edit the additional menu items: ​https://es.wordpress.org/wp-admin/nav-menus.php?action=edit&menu=4288

This means that the only thing that you can do is translate the other menu items on translate.wordpress.org.

@tobifjellner, can you confirm if that's the case? Not sure if I'm missing something here.

If that's indeed the case, we would likely need to edit it to be more like that on all the Rosetta sites.

Hi friends.
Yep, @foosantos got it right. The "mandatory" menu items (and their order) are hardcoded and translated via translate.wordpress.org. Whatever you add in the admin interface will land after the centrally added items.

Also. I'm closing this ticket. For changes to the local menu items no ticket is needed.

If you want to change the central menu for all Rosetta sites, then a new ticket is best, with clear description and arguments for the changes requested.
