Wrong URL in Get Involved link in the header area

Description

In the page of https://wordpress.org/documentation/ there are two places with Get Involved text. At the top and in the footer.

The footer Get Involved has https://make.wordpress.org/ link but the header has https://make.wordpress.org/docs/

I guess, the docs team link is wrong and need to replace with https://make.wordpress.org/

Thank you

  • Component changed from WordPress.org Site to HelpHub (wordpress.org/documentation)
  • Keywords close added; changes-requested removed

Thanks for the report!

I personally don't feel that there is an issue here. The top-most "Get Involved" link is in the navigation bar for the Documentation site, so the link is pointing to the documentation team's contributor site.

The bottom-most "Get Involved" is in the global footer, so the link points more generically to the main contributor site.

To avoid any potential for confusion, the course of action could be to rename the top-most "Get Involved" link to something else, like "Contribute" or "Help with Docs". However, "Get Involved" is concise and works for me. The link URLs themselves shouldn't be changed.
