Font Collection JSON schema redirection

Hi, WordPress 6.5 will ship the Font Library feature; one of the components of this functionality is the font collections. Font collections have a JSON schema as, for example, block.json and theme.json have. As we are introducing the font-collection.json schema, we should have a public URL to reference the schema as block and theme schemas have.

We need to add a redirection from ​https://schemas.wp.org/trunk/font-collection.json
to ​https://raw.githubusercontent.com/WordPress/gutenberg/trunk/schemas/json/font-collection.json

This has already been requested in: ​https://make.wordpress.org/systems/2024/01/16/add-redirect-for-font-collection-json-schema/ so tracking will be there.

Hi @paulkevan, this was closed as fixed but it doesn't seem to be fixed. The redirection is not working yet.

This isn't something the meta team can implement, but the wp.org systems team, and as was mentioned it's being tracked elsewhere, hence why this ticket was marked fixed.
