Description

The main forums already inject nofollow rules on URLs in post content, but posts made via plugin or theme support tabs are not given the same treatment, should we perhaps include this on them as well?

The posts made in plugin or theme support tabs are made to the forums, so all the same rules should apply. So, I'm not sure where is there not a nofollow being applied. Example?

I believe I've narrowed it down to only being the case for the initial post made (the link to the plugin page is nofollow'ed as it should though).

An example is at https://wordpress.org/support/topic/pop-up-showing-extra-things-just-like-a-post

Ahh. Found it. It wasn't specific to themes or plugin posts. Technically possible to do it in any forum post.

Not anymore though. Fixed in dotorg 9183.
