- Turn on Always use secure connections in Google Chrome
- Browse to http://developer.wp.org
- See error

developer.wp.org when visited in Google Chrome, with the advanced security measure that blocks sites that aren't serving via HTTPs, is showing a security error.
Possible fixes
Update the way the redirects are served from *.wp.org
May affect other domains
Possibly an issue with other wp.org domains that are being redirected
