IPv6 Support for WordPress APIs

Description
Currently all of the WordPress APIs only work via IPv4.

downloads.wordpress.org
wordpress.org
It would be immensely helpful if the above WordPress services were dual-stack that way IPv6-only hosts could get updates.
It looks like your entire infrastructure is being hosted by HorizonIQ. They'd be more than happy to help you add IPv6 connectivity to your network. (I used to work there!)
