Thanks for the feedback! I checked in with the team, and we’ve agreed to continue only with the WP Campus Connect Participant badge and the WP Credits Graduate badge.

@dd32 Hello! We expect the first WP Credits students to graduate by the end of November 2025. What’s the expected timeline for having the Graduate badge ready? Thank you.

Thanks for the ping @peiraisotta, This slipped through some cracks.
I've created the Participant and Graduate badges, currently these are assigned to @dd32 and @peiraisotta for testing.

Thanks a lot @dd32! I see that one badge is WP Credits Participant while it should be WP Campus Connect instead.[Participant – participants of the program (#3858E9)]
After all, we'll also need the WP Credits Mentor [reps or mentors guiding students (#8329E3)]. Is it possible to add this one as well?

Okay, so, all visible on my profile @dd32
WP Campus Connect Participant badge

Note: The example just has it as 'Campus Connect Participant' but I think it's supposed to have WP there right?

Before you ask how to assign the badges (Unless you already have profiles wp-admin access), I'll follow up tomorrow with a tool for that.

@dd32 Is it possible to make me a group admin as well for WPCC? This will allow me to approve requests, correct? At this stage I'm also guessing that students will need to request the badge themselves after participating?

@piyopiyofox Requests were disabled for the badges.
Please use https://make.wordpress.org/community/wp-admin/tools.php?page=profile-badges to grant the badges to those who need it. Anyone who is an admin on make/community can access that (Including yourself)
Are all of these badges needed?
Is this a 'Has been a mentor before' or 'Is currently a mentor'?
Is it expected that institutions have a "brand account"/"company account"? This badge seems like one that wouldn't actually be utilised by many, and would offer limited benefit. Similarly, 5FTF companies don't have badges/etc.
Generally, Badges are earned and not removed, it would be strange to have both Enrolled/Graduated badges, so it'd be a case of remove-enrolled-add-graduated I guess?
I hate to say it, but it may also encourage some people to attempt to enroll just to get the badge without any intention of furthering. I would personally suggest that this should just be a singular
WP Credits Graduatebadge.
