Description
What are the odds we could alphabetize the list of Upcoming WordCamps on wordcamp.org? I recognize that some of the camps are ordered by date, but that logic quickly falls apart once those without dates are listed.
Personally, I'm more interested in whether "the camp for my city" is being planned, not when the next still-in-planning WordCamp is aiming for.
Kind of an awkward ordering scheme, currently.

You're only referring to the list of early-planning camps in the sidebar of the schedule page, right? Not the list of approved camps in the main content area?
I agree that sorting alphabetically helps in the scenario where you're looking for a camp nearby, but you'd still have to scan through a list of 20-50 items (because there may be one in a nearby town rather than your exact town), which sucks no matter what.
I think a better solution would be to display a map on top of the list, so that people who want to find something in their region can quickly zoom in, and people who want to see all camps in an agenda format can use the list (maybe they're traveling and want to see what's coming up in the next month).
@mj12982 put together some mockups to refresh the Central theme, and the one for the About page includes a map that shows all past/upcoming camps. We've talked about also putting that on the Schedule page, but having it be upcoming/pending camps instead.
What do you think of that solution?
