- Component changed from General to Handbooks
- Priority changed from normal to lowest
I asked the Docs team who pointed me to this:
https://make.wordpress.org/docs/style-guide/linking/link-text/#punctuation-with-links
There's a couple of pages in the mentioned handbook that need updating:
https://make.wordpress.org/handbook/?s=.%3C/a%3E
A misplaced . isn't a very high priority thing, but needs to be raised with the specific teams who manage the handbooks to resolve, as currently we don't have any publicly contributable docs handbooks like that.
Note: See
TracTickets for help on using
tickets.
This pattern (email links including trailing punctuation) appears in multiple Make handbook pages.
It might be worth clarifying whether this should be handled as a broader content guideline, or fixed on a per-page basis as issues are reported.
