WordPress 7.0.3 en_GB package causes HTTP 500; en_US package works

I have downloaded the UK version of WordPress and uploaded this to my web space, it created internal server error. I deleted this, downloaded the US version, and that took me to the first install screen as expected. I deleted this again and re-uploaded a fresh download of the UK version and again got Internal server error.

In case this is just a build error, I just now set a random string to fuzzy and immediately back to current, to trigger a rebuild when the cron executed, probably on the hour.

Thanks, I will try again shortly - coincidentally the UK version via WP-CLI is fine as I have a bash script that updates around 400 sites on my server and they're all functioning fine (though this is a new install I am attempting today and they're just updates).

Let's try to pinpoint more then.
Which server so you use (Apache, nginx...) which version of php? From which ip dadress do you download?
