After Closing Modal Window Opened for the Theme Details from the Author's Page the Underlying Page Refreshes to the Featured Page

Wow ... that was long but there you have it.

Go to an author page, for example: ​https://wordpress.org/themes/author/automattic/
Click on any theme's "More info" button to open its modal window.
Close the modal window and the underlying page refreshes to the Featured themes page (home page?) ... ​https://wordpress.org/themes/browse/featured/

I would expect the author page to remain as is when the modal window is closed.
