#919 closed enhancement (fixed)

Start tracking theme filters and search field

Description

Right now we have no data on how people search for themes in the directory. If we want to improve the theme experience it would be helpful to know what people are looking for. Let's add some sort of anonymous tracking to the filters and search field so we know which filters are most popular, and what keywords people are using.

+1. Usage stats are always helpful for making informed decisions.

@melchoyce would a report like that be helpful? This is a raw Google Analytics export of the last 30 days.

The subpage stats should disappear going forward, we currently don't track those.

Thanks @obenland. I got an export from @sam and started looking into it, but I haven't had any time in the past couple weeks.

Now that we have dedicated URLs for tags and searches, I think Google Analytics reports will satisfy the requirements in this ticket.
