The clear btn on the search input field should be aligned to the left.

Keywords reporter-feedback added

Any idea how to fix this? Looking at the admin dashboard or the theme directory and there is the icon on the wrong side too. Shouldn't the browser handle this?

No idea, but i remember that we had the same issue on WordPress core.

Could not find the ticket, but if I'm not mistaking there was some issue with browser compatibility.

I'm with @ocean90 on this, I haven't the first clue how to make the browser style that differently. The whole document is RTL, so it seems the browser should be doing that.

What CSS change needs to be made?

I concur with @ocean90 and @Otto42. I wasn't able to find any resource indicating that this could even be controlled. The browser should handle this.

Feel free to reopen if there's some concrete actionable steps that can be taken.
