Profiles: Badges for bbPress contributors and team members

Per the proposal on make/community ​here is to add badges for bbPress contributors and team members

Choose a dashicon: bbPress Logo Dashicon: \f477

Choose a badge color: bbPress: #2d8e42 ​https://codex.bbpress.org/official-logos-and-icons/

Define criteria for getting (and, optionally, maintaining) the badge

• Team badge candidates would initially be drawn from a list of everyone who has ever made a commit to the respective project SVN repos. A rep for the team can vet the list for active members. If there are non-committing team members, they can be added as needed. Team badges are only assigned for the duration of a person’s active participation in the team (as assessed by the team itself). Badge assignments/removals would be handled manually going forward.

• Contributor badges would be assigned to anyone who has committed to the SVN repo or been given props in a commit. Contributor badges are permanent and automatically assigned (periodically, if not immediately). Manual adjustments (e.g. a typo in props) can be done as needed.

Just adding here that later today/tomorrow @mercime will upload some more/suggested example artwork for the bbPress logo/s after a discussion we had on the "circle" that surrounds the dashicons on coloured background for the team icon.

Attached image (rough draft, sorry) shows the following:
1) bbPress logo - for contributors and core team,
2) bbPress logo less outer circle border (black) - for contributors and core team,
3) bbPress logo less outer circle border (green) - for contributors and core team,
4) bbPress logo BB only (black) - for contributors and core team,
5) bbPress logo BB only (green) - for contributors and core team,
6) bbPress dashicon bee (black) - for contributors and core team, and
7) bbPress dashicon bee (green) - for contributors and core team.

SVG for any icon used in 2) through 7) can provided if either are chosen.

These look great. Of the options provided, I think these two are going to work the best in the overall badge set:

5) bbPress logo BB only (green) - for contributors and core team
7) bbPress dashicon bee (green) - for contributors and core team

The bb logo is the more clear of the two, but the bee logo is more consistent with the rest of the badge set (and the more visually appearing option, IMO).

I've been torn also between 5 & 7 and I think your reasoning here has also tipped me in favour of option 7

Is the existing bee dashicon \f451 we already have enough here or is an svg also required?
